CLAUSTHALER HELPS CONTEST WINNERS STAY ON COURSE
2004 “Stay on Course” Sweepstakes Awards Grand Prize And Over 1,000 More NORWALK, Conn. (May 26, 2005) – Binding Brauerei USA, makers of Clausthaler Non-Alcoholic brew, has awarded the winners of its annual Stay on Course Sweepstakes. Over 1,000 prizes were given away, including the grand prize of a golf vacation for two to the luxurious Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Ariz.
(www.camelbackinn.com). The top prize went to Carla Winn, of Wichita, Kan., and her husband Steve. Ten lucky second prize winners each received a set of 15 Warrior Titanium golf clubs and a Clausthaler golf bag; 1,000 third prizewinners received Clausthaler Top-Flite golf balls.
“The sweepstakes was designed to build awareness for the virtues of drinking a low-calorie imported German N.A. that won’t add strokes to a golfer’s game,” said Dilip Mehta, chief operating officer of BBUSA. “Assuming they drink Clausthaler, our winners, the Winn’s, will be able to ‘stay on course’ in Scottsdale. I guess you can call that a ‘winning’ combination.” The 2005 sweepstakes is currently underway though December 31, 2005.
